F325 is a digital indicator for strain gage type sensors (DIN 96 x 48 mm size).
With analogue/digital hold function and high-speed signal processing capability (3000 times/sec.), it enables accurate measurements of pressure, force, torque, and other dynamic factors.
It is equipped with serial interface (RS-485 or SI/F) , and up to 32 units of F325 can be connected on the same network (only with RS-485).
It is ideal for applications with short cycle time, such as tablet press or plugging machines.

* BCD output corresponds to sink type and source type.

Analogue peak hold
The peak of analogue signal is captured by the peak hold circuit.
Since it is independent of sampling speed, it can hold the peak value at faster speed.



Digital peak/ sample hold

The peak or a sample point of digitized measurement data is captured.
It is ideal for applications where the stability of reading is required.

Hi-speed A/D conversion rate of 3000 times/sec. (resolution: 24 bit)

Analogue signal from a sensor can be converted to digital signal at the rate of 3000 times/sec.*.
* A/D conversion rate can be switched to 30 or 300 times/sec..
 Then the effect of filter is enhanced, which, in turn, enables stable measurements.

The high-performance filtering functions by using both analogue and digital technology

Remove vibration and noise/external interference on input signal for “fast” and “accurate” reading.
Both analogue and digital filters (low-pass and moving average filter) can be used simultaneously.
Depending on requirements for applications (e.g. fast response, stable reading, etc.), you can select the optimal filter from wide range of selection.

Interface

You could chose either RS-485 (Modbus-RTU/ UNI-format) or SI/F(Unipulse original serial interface) as a standard interface.

F325 processes the analogue peak hold value at the speed of 3000 times/sec. and ouputs HI/OK/LO signal.
It is ideal for the application with short cycle time.


<High-accuracy>

It can be also used for highly accurate weighing system by adjusting A/D conversion speed and/or filter setting.



Free software for parameter setting is available

F325 can be connected to PC via RS-485 or RS-232C, and parameter setting can be edited or saved on PC.

External devices can be connected, such as relays, switches, transistors and so on. The signal can be outputted by making short-circuit between input and common terminal.
In case transistor is connected, please use NPN (sink) transistor.
