"The cogging torque measurement" is quite important test for a motor test. However, conventional torque meters have not been able to measure torque accurately because the measured torque is tiny.

As the minimum capacity of "UTMIII" is tiny as 0.05 N m, even minute torque that couldn't have been measured can be measured and evaluated accurately. In addition, due to its highly rigid shaft, even torque in high-speed rotation is measurable. Therefore, UTMIII is ideal for tests of EV motors as well.
