3 Sensors contributing to maintain & improve the quality of metal working!

Check the main spindle of machining centers

Check the grip force of tool holders

Check the clamping force of lathe machines

Maintaining consistent quality in metal machining requires proper control and monitoring of the spindle clamping force of machining centers.

The disc springs (Belleville springs) used in the spindle drawbar have a limited service life, and their degradation over time can negatively impact clamping performance, leading to reduced machining accuracy and stability.

Manage the Main Spindle with UNICLAMP!

Main Spindle Clamp Force Tester "UNICLAMP"

Easy to handle! Easy check even by single-person operation

回転トルクメータUTMⅢ-グラフ

Accurately measures gripping force during clamping as well as unclamping.

回転トルクメータUTMⅢ-グラフ

The service life of the spindle Belleville springs can be detected at an early stage by observing changes during unclamping.

Tool holders that grip cutting tools also have a limited service life.

Even when tools are set using the same procedure, they may not always be held with the

same gripping force.

Due to hydraulic oil leakage or component wear over time, gripping force can decrease,

which may lead to reduced machining accuracy or, in the worst case, tool drop.

Check Tool Holders with GRIP MASTER!

Grip Force Tester GRIP MASTER

No calibration needed! Just connect and ready for measurement!

Sensor probes of GRIP MASTER

11 sensor probe sizes available from φ4 to φ32. As the calibration data is recorded inside the sensor, GRIP MASTER can be used immediately by connecting it.

Just grip a sensor instead of a tool!

You need a probe with different shaft diameter? The production method of a shaft conversion adapter is available.

See this page for more details.

Is hydraulic pressure adjustment in lathe machining relying on operator skill and experience?

Do you face challenges in setting the appropriate chucking force for different workpieces?

Easy Maintenance with UNICHUCK!

Chuck Force Tester UNICHUCK

Measurement is possible during rotation, enabling evaluation under real machining conditions.

Easy chuck adjustment on thin workpiece!

It is effective not only for monitoring chuck deterioration, but also for optimizing machining conditions.

Thin workpieces may deform if clamped too tightly, while insufficient clamping force

can cause slipping during machining. With UNICHUCK, clamping force can be measured at actual machining speeds, enabling precise adjustment of hydraulic pressure.

Supporting two-jaw / three-jaw / collet chuck!

We can flexibly support a special chuck too as a special order. Do ask us.
